Spring Favorites

ShopSpring Essentials

Hey guys!

With spring's arrival and festival season I couldn't help but share some of my spring essentials. I've developed a fondness for rose/blush colored accents, tan hues, and anything light blue. I love this color palette, so perfect for spring! With my love for road trips and music festivals I couldn't forget these accessories...especially a camera, I love capturing every moment!
What are your current spring essentials?

Thanks to Spring I was able to draw some inspiration and find these spring favorites on their site:

1. Nantucket straw hat

2. Byredo Gypsy water perfume

3. Donni Charm bandana

4. Flash Tattoos

5. Lomography camera

6. Mandala iPhone case

7. Tan backpack

8. Rose nail polish

9. Lace-up sandals

10. Rose and silver bangles

11. Leather wrap choker

12. Sunglasses

Balboa Outing

♫ Mazzy Star- Ride it On ♫

Back in Balboa Island with the familia

Ferry Rides

Out with the family, loving my little nephew's Gilligan hat !

Balboa Island's famous frozen chocolate covered bananas!

Bug eyes and leather chokers

(Wearing: F21 linen dress, Sam Edelman Louie boots, DIY leather necklace, Yoins bag)

Last Sunday the family and I went to Newport Beach's Balboa Island, it's one of my fave little getaway spots, Balboa has the perfect mellow yet charming beachy town feel. I recommend checking it out if you want to get away from the city and just relax. I love strolling around the small streets and checking out the beautiful beach houses... if you guys go course make sure you try their frozen chocolate covered bananas, so yummy! Every time we go we get one regardless of the weather.
Balboa Island is a super casual town and I know I dressed up a bit but I promise these Sam Edelman booties are some of the comfiest boots I own, I love how their versatility makes them easy to dress up or down. Although it was the first day of spring the weather was a bit chilly so I opted for a linen dress paired with tights and an oversized cardigan, we walked for a good two hours and these boots kept me cozy and comfortable all day, love love them!

Beach Streets

Lunchin' with The Straubes and Dee at Berlin Bistro, one of our fave local eateries in downtown LB

Fingerprints  my fave record/book store!

Cute chubby Lukas puts a smile on anyone's face

Matt Costa playing a live acoustic sesh, love him!

Art gallery wanderings

One of my fave boutiques in LB's East Village Art's District: Anneise  + Peacock & Co.

Love the plants and interior decor finds at this shop

They also carry children's clothing and accessories, super cute!

Artsy murals in downtown

Chalk art map of LBC...so sweet!

Ending the day at Recreational Coffee, voted one of LBC's best coffee shops..but we only went for those vegan donuts and we killed them...they were so light yet delicious!

Beach Streets is a neat event in Long Beach held once a year. because of the event many streets of the city close and allow people to leave their cars at home and bike/walk all over the city to explore new businesses, check out live music, cool art, new food joints, etc. Long Beach is already known as a bike-friendly city so this was a perfect event! They even had new bike rentals all over the city, which I will need to rent out soon! There were a bunch of bicyclists cruising around and enjoying the event with their families, friends, and pups.
. Beach Streets was so much fun! I went with family and friends and we walked everywhere all while checking out live music including Matt Costa, art galleries, coffee shops, and of course stopped by my fave record store fingerprints.  I love being a tourist in my own city especially when events like these come around, it gives me an opportunity to explore new hidden places or businesses I didn't know about. SO much fun, love my LBC!

Hope you all are enjoying your day :)
