StephC: A Day in the Countryside

Nothing better than spending all day in the countryside, it had been a while since I went out to the valley for a nice getaway!

First we drove to Riley's Farm, this place had been on my bucket list for a while and although it's known to be overly crowded it wasn't too bad, the weather was perfect too! It actually felt like autumn with a slight crisp breeze.

We hung out there for a good two-three hours, we walked all over and checked out the petting zoo, the pumpkin patch, the strawberry fields, and a few of the apples left. The only downside was that I got stung by a bee on my finger lol but fortunately we found ice and honey which majorly helped with the pain and swelling... I guess now I know I'm not allergic to bees! :)

Besides the bee sting I LOVED the atmosphere and country vibes at the farm, such a perfect little fall getaway! The views were absolutely stunning too, have you guys been before?

After Riley's Farm we drove to Live Oak Canyon's pumpkin patch (yes another one lol) which I loved! Although this one was a bit crowded I loved the pumpkin fields and the variety of pumpkins they had, but my favorite part had to be the beautiful sunflower fields! There was a sea of them and I just couldn't get enough! I also loved how big and lively this pumpkin patch was, I'm usually used to the smaller local pumpkin patches in the neighborhood but this one was super cute and definitely had so much character. Everything from the live music, rides, games, food, etc. made it for such a fun evening!
