La Jolla Cove

The ocean is always my favorite place to unwind....whether I'm stressed out, happy, or feeling down going to the beach always has a calming effect on me and automatically puts me in a better mood, I just feel in my zone. I think I might have been a mermaid in another life... ;) 

These pictures were taken in San Diego's beautiful La Jolla Cove, this place is just too stunning for words. I love all the nature around, especially the seals and sea lions sun bathing on the cove and on the shore. They're literally a couple feet away from you just relaxing there without a care in the world, I just love observing them in their natural habitat. There are also tide pools where you can  check out other marine life like: sea urchins, sea anemones, sea slugs, sea gulls, pelicans, and hermit crabs hanging around. I love marine animals and anything about the ocean, and this place in SD definitely hits the spot for checking out marine wildlife!

It was pretty gloomy and rainy these last couple of days but it still felt nice, I went to Santa Barbara yesterday for a quickie day trip and I just came back from LA and explored the Watts Towers, overall it was a pretty swell weekend if you ask me :)

Fullerton Arboretum

I finally got a chance to visit the Fullerton Arboretum, and loved it! This beautiful natural habitat is the perfect getaway and spot for photo shoots, hiking, wedding events, or just a place to relax and take in all the nature and check out all the different kinds of trees and plants. 

Of course I headed straight for the succulents and cacti area since they're my fave! The bamboo area was also my favorite, it was definitely very picturesque. Although we walked along the trails for a while I still didn't have the right shoes..obviously ;) so we couldn't really see the rest of the park. :/ However, I'm definitely planning to come back for a hike and explore more of the arboretum. Have you guys ever been?

Carlsbad Flower Fields

Hello April!!

Can't believe Spring is officially here! The flower fields were a perfect spring outing and weekend getaway...pure bliss! No better feeling than being in a sea of ranunculus flowers.

You guys must check out the Carlsbad flower fields if you're in the San Diego area.

Bliss

The Green Bliss Cafe's citrus infused water and almond latte...loved it!

Last weekend's outing in downtown Fullerton was pretty chill, my sis and I checked out the Ruche and Threadsence sale and we actually scored some great deals! Afterwards we went across the street to The Green Bliss Cafe  and tried some yummy drinks. We had the best view while sipping on our lattes, I was obviously obsessing over the pink trees. They're blooming everywhere in SoCal right now, I know they're not Sakura (cherry blossoms)....but I so wish I knew their real name! Any ideas?

Anyways it's finally Friday, I can't wait for the weekend. I'm going to the Holi Indian color festival tomorrow, I hear it's such a blast! So stay tuned for pics guys! :)
