Chandelier Tree

This weekend I ran into this gem of a tree in Silverlake, LA. I had heard about it before but I'm so glad I got a chance to finally see it for myself, and it was so worth it! These chandeliers are hanging from a tree in front of a house and there's even a coin meter for donations to keep the lights beautifully lit up! I love running into random hidden gems like this. The Chandelier Tree is a cool attraction in LA and a must see if you're in the area!

The Getty Villa

It's been a while since I went to the Getty Villa in Malibu. So this past Saturday I decided to drive up to Santa Monica and Malibu to catch up with the girls and have a girls day out and photo sesh at the Villa.

Now, if you've never been to the Getty Villa I HIGHLY recommend it! If you're into Greek/Roman art, museums, history, and architecture then this is the place for you! I love all the perfectly crafted and intricate details in the architecture design and tile art. It's just so much overwhelming beauty, but it will not disappoint! As you can see the girls and I had a little too much fun taking pictures of every detail. ;)

Point Vicente Lighthouse

June gloom is here! We also got some light rain in SoCal and I decided to drive up to Palos Verdes' beautiful Point Vicente Lighthouse, a place I've wanted to go for a while. Although the day was muggy, windy and rainy it was still perfect for a stroll  around the lighthouse with an amazing view of the ocean. It was very refreshing and I also got to check out the lighthouse museum, it had so much great history about the lighthouse, marine life, and the Peninsula. 

I'm hoping to go back to do more hiking and exploring around the trails, plus parking and the museum is all free! Definitely a landmark to check out.
