This month has seriously caught me by surprise, it's just soaring by! Being so busy lately has caused me to lose track of time haha. Unfortunately, I'm also trying to fight off a cold or I think it's allergies...not really sure what it is ...but it's pretty annoying since it decided to hit me during a busy week :( 

Oh well...at least the weekend is almost here, I'm just trying to hang in there! Plus I can't wait to see some of my best friends this Saturday! Yay!

Eats + Decor ...nothing better, this is a new restaurant in Long Beach called S T Noodle Bar, it was pretty good but that Thai tea was nothing short of amazing! I will definitely be back soon!

It has been a pretty busy weekend for me studying for two exams next week!  However, I'm hoping to go on a little adventure next weekend so stay tuned!

Yay for Thursday! I'm so glad the weekend has started for me, I feel like it's been a loooong week but it has still  been pretty good. BTW I can't believe it's already February!! Time sure does fly, I'm guessing it's still going to be a crazy busy month at school but I'll try to post more pics of my random adventures, hiking, eateries, outfits, randoms, etc.

Here are a couple snapshots from last week's day off in LBC, I went lunching at one of my fave restaurants and stopped at a local fave cafe to catch up on emails and blogging! Love chill days like these in my hometown!

I also spent the weekend catching up with friends and family while making plans for thanksgiving..seriously can't wait!

Out & About: LBC Eats

Checking out the new local coffee shop: Recreational Coffee in downtown Long Beach!

I tried their famed "Sea Salt Affogato" topped with chocolate and coffee bean shavings. Annddd it  totally lived up to its hype! SO delicious...I'm still daydreaming about it.. :)

I also tried out another new ice cream spot called: Afters Ice Cream, and it also lived up to its hype, such a different way of eating ice cream and the flavors were bomb diggity! :)

So they're known for serving ice cream in donuts (milky buns) ! I opted for a unglazed donut and jasmine flavored ice cream with crispy flake toppings.... OMG out of this world yummy!

If you haven't already noticed, I love trying out new eateries, or cafes! I also like supporting upcoming new businesses around my hometown. I've lived in Long Beach my whole life and it's definitely growing with so many new attractions, restaurants, shops,  cafes, art walks, music festivals, etc... I love how it's getting more recognition because it truly is a unique  artsy/urban city by the sea! I live in Orange County, but I can't help coming back home during my days off or the weekend to chill and hang out with friends..there's just no place like LBC!

If you get a chance, make sure to check out some of LB's new eateries and cafes including: Recreational Coffee and Afters Ice Cream. There are also a few new ones that just opened, can't wait to check them out soon!
