Echo Park & Miracle Mile

♫ Safetalk- Universal ♫

Hey guys!
I hope you all had a nice weekend, I've been spending my weekends in LA lately, I just can't help it there is so much going on out there and so many great events happening almost every other weekend lol.  Although there was really no destination in mind we ended up driving to Eastside and spent some time in Echo Park to relax and just hang out, the weather was perfect!

After that we drove around Miracle Mile to check out the LACMA lamp posts, it was pretty random and spontaneous, but we just decided to stop by...of course it was crowded as usual but it still looked amazing as always, the LACMA lamp posts installation AKA 'Urban Light' by Chris Burden is always fun to visit and if you're in the area don't forget to take a mini photoshoot there! :)

Peace Out

Arizona State of Mind: Antelope Canyon & Lake Powell

♫ The War On Drugs- Thinkin Of A Place ♫

It was such a great feeling finally being able to cross off Antelope Canyon off my bucket list. This place was on my bucket list for a while now and it was one of the highlights of my Arizona birthday trip just because it definitely exceeded my expectations. We went on a Navajo hour-long tour and I loved how down-to-earth our tour guide was, he gave us some insight and a bit of history about the slot canyon and how it is part of the Navajo Nation Land. It's always fascinating to learn about different Native American tribes and their lands throughout the nation, especially the South West. Although Antelope Canyon was a bit more crowded than the other attractions we visited, I still managed to capture this beautiful natural wonder. Its natural formation is due to erosion, flash floods, and other natural processes but heavy rain is one of the main causes of the waves and rock formations of this canyon creating narrow passageways with the most interesting shapes. There is a certain time of the day too (10am ish) when the sun rays beam through the crevices of the canyon in the most stunning way exposing the most beautiful earthy colors and textures along the sand stone walls. Such a truly amazing experience guys! It was unlike anything I've ever seen before, If you ever get a chance to visit Antelope Canyon please do so, I promise you it's worth it!

Lake Powell with my sister

Amazing view of Lake Powell. This lake is actually a reservoir on the Colorado River which straddles the border of Utah and Arizona.

Broken Shaker

♫ Maribou State- Home ♫

Hey lovelies!
This past Saturday my sister and I organized a small pre-birthday party soiree in downtown LA's new rooftop bar, Broken Shaker. My sister and I both have birthdays in November (mine's on the 16th her's on the 19th) so we decided to have a chill get-together with some close friends earlier since we will be going to Arizona for our actual birthdays, can't wait! As you guys can see from the pictures this new rooftop bar definitely has character, which is one of the reasons why we fell in love with it! It is located on top of the Freehand Hotel in DTLA's Commercial Exchange building, the Broken Shaker bar's decor was one of my faves, it had this certain Miami-boho-tiki flair to it, if that makes sense haha. The view was spectacular too you get a 360 view of downtown LA which can't be beat! The evening was even better than imagined, there was a cool DJ playing some of the best jams all night long, the drinks were too cute for words and very delish,  the food was yummy, and the vibes were just too good! I definitely recommend checking out this new rooftop bar in the heart of DTLA, great drinks, great view, great music, what more could you want?
Thanks to everyone that came, love you guys!

I'm wearing an H&M dress I bought years ago and Jeffrey Campbell heels.
My sister (on the right) is wearing a Make Collectives coral set and H&M heels.

Also checked out The Exchange Restaurant downstairs, they specialize in Israeli-American cuisine, too good!

Guess which drink I got....lol (hint: it most def. had some pineapple in it)

Posing with our cousin, Bianca, and our photo bomber in the back lol ;)

Thanks for the pic Kimberly!

Good times with these lovelies!

Ending the night with macarons from Bottega Louie..yum!

Here's a quick recap video of our night that my sis made:
