Catalina Island Getaway Part 1

(Wearing: Vintage Lee's shorts, LC crochet top, Soludos espadrilles, TJ Maxx hat, Rebecca Minkoff bag, F21 backpack and tassel necklace)

Hey Lovelies!

Here are the first pics of my random little adventure to Catalina Island. It was aboout 8 years since I had not visited and it felt soooo great to be back!
Catalina feels like a beautiful Mediterranean island off the coast of Greece or Italy. It's one of the best and local vacation spots to get away from all the bustle of the city.... and it's just a 45 minute boat ride away!  I went for a day and the weather couldn't have been more perfect, loved it. The first couple of hours I walked and explored around. Afterwards, I took a trolley up to the Wrigley Botanical Gardens for the first time. As you can see,  I went a little crazy taking pictures of the tile art and the beautiful monument memorial. Its architecture and tile art had me speechless, so much hard work was put into this, and the intricate details were mastered into a monument of art. I highly recommend these botanical gardens and especially the Wrigley Memorial Monument, it's amazing!

More pictures coming your way! ;)

Until next time Santa Barbara! ^^

Apart from Clairmont Farms we also stopped by Solvang on the way, which is a small Danish town in Santa Barbara which means "sunny field". There's just so much to explore in this town! It has cute shops, restaurants, and the best bakeries with yummy Danish bread! It instills such an authentic European feel with hidden streets and corners filled with quaint ice cream shops and cafes.  If you're ever in the Santa Barbara area, I totally recommend visiting Solvang...you won't regret it! :)

Off on another little adventure tomorrow and can't wait!
