Plaid & Vintage

♫ BORNS- Blue Madonna ♫

Wearing:

Shein Buckle Plaid Top
Vintage Levi's Jeans
Zaful bag
Sister LB sunnies
Zara boots

Hey guys!
Took this top out for a spin last week in downtown LB, I'm usually not much for plaid but this top is something else, love the vintage style with the added belt, it certainly has a different flair to it! I also love the comfortable oversized style and the way it looks paired with skinny jeans, I can't wait to style it different ways with flared pants or skirts!
What do you guys think?

Happy weekend lovelies!

California Drifters

♫ Woods- Creature Comfort ♫

One of the many things I love about my hometown, Long Beach, are all the new small businesses popping up in just about every corner and most are all owned by women, which is definitely very inspiring!
I'm all about supporting small businesses, especially in my city, so when I heard that California Drifters was opening up on 4th street I had to pay them a visit.

If you're into concept shops filled with cacti, home goods, organic/natural skincare, vintage clothing, and minimal goods with a boho flair then you must visit this shop. It's nestled in the heart of Long Beach in one of my many favorite areas of LBC, 4th st!
One of my favorite things about the shop was the interior decor...so mellow with a boho touch and it has plenty to offer despite its size!
Check out their IG here and make sure to pay them a visit if you're in the LBC area!  :)

Winter Glow

♫ L'Imperatrice- Agitations Tropicales ♫

Wearing:

Shein lantern shirt
Lou & Grey jeans
Zara boots
Poshmark bag
Sister LB sunnies

I hope you all had a nice weekend, here are a few outfit snaps from this weekend.
I decided to go for a comfortable yet cozy look this past Saturday for a day out running errands and getting together with friends. It was pretty chilly and windy out so I made sure to cozy up with a warm fringe cardigan, comfortable jeans, and ankle boots. I also recently received this shirt from Shein, at first I thought it wasn't really my cup of tea but after trying it on I loved it! Everything from the rusty coffee color, the fit, the sleeves, and the soft linen-like material. I love how it can be transitioned from winter to spring and even summer to fall, it's so versatile! The best part is that it comes in many different colors and it's oh so affordable, check it out here
What do you guys think of the overall look?

Arboretum Hangs

♫ Minke- Gold Angel ♫

Last Sunday we went to the Fullerton Arboretum, which has become one of my go-to places for a morning walk/easy hike, it's so close to home and I love how it actually feels like you're in the middle of nowhere lost in nature, which in this case is good!
I love the botanical garden and spotting all the different trees, plants, and flowers... they each have have a little sign next to them with their scientific name too!
I love how all the plants and trees in there are preserved and how there are different collections too like the cultivated, woodlands, desert, and mediterranean collections. My favorite has to be the desert with its succulents/cacti gardens and the mediterranean collection with the California shrubs and native plants.
Have you guys been before?

This gem

Always a good time with these girlies!

Spring is that you?

Echo Park & Miracle Mile

♫ Safetalk- Universal ♫

Hey guys!
I hope you all had a nice weekend, I've been spending my weekends in LA lately, I just can't help it there is so much going on out there and so many great events happening almost every other weekend lol.  Although there was really no destination in mind we ended up driving to Eastside and spent some time in Echo Park to relax and just hang out, the weather was perfect!

After that we drove around Miracle Mile to check out the LACMA lamp posts, it was pretty random and spontaneous, but we just decided to stop by...of course it was crowded as usual but it still looked amazing as always, the LACMA lamp posts installation AKA 'Urban Light' by Chris Burden is always fun to visit and if you're in the area don't forget to take a mini photoshoot there! :)

Peace Out
