I finally got to visit the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena a couple weekends ago and I have to say I really loved it! I love how underrated and less crowded this museum was. This museum has some of the best private art collections with a mix of renaissance 18th century European art, Asian art, and modern abstract art too! I loved the variety and mix! However, my favorite type of art is definitely a little bit of everything, especially surrealism and abstract so you can imagine how thrilled I was to see some of Picasso's abstract/cubism work in the mix along with Brancusi's sculptures! :)

Have you guys visited this museum before? I highly recommend it!

Hey guys!

Here is a random compilation of this month so far, it's been a very rainy chilly month, but I'm not complaining :) 

However, I must say this month has felt like an eternity, I've had a few ups and downs too but I'm so glad it's almost over lol 

I'm definitely looking forward to taking ceramic classes next month though, and maybe start planning a few trips too! I'm in major wanderlust mode, so stay tuned for more updates coming up!

LBC Vibes

Hey lovelies!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! 

I'm trying to update the blog more constantly this year so bear with me :)

This weekend I checked out this new cafe in my hometown, Long Beach, called Vibes Cafe. It definitely has all those LBC vibes so you better believe I absolutely loved it! Everything from the decor to the food was great! My sis got the house burger and I got the shrimp tacos which didn't disappoint. Their drink menu seemed very promising too, but we only tried their iced matcha which was pretty refreshing. 

Afterwards we hung around Alamitos Bay and the breakwater which was the best idea because we had the best sunset ever! It's been pretty rainy here in SoCal but it makes for the best sunsets :)

Hello 2019!

♫ Melaena Cadiz- Goes Without Saying ♫

The new year always brings bittersweet and nostalgic feelings for me, the memories get all stirred up and then I remember how grateful I am to have survived yet another year surrounded with friends and family. 2018 definitely had its ups and downs, but I'm glad I got through it all! I used to do new year's resolutions but I stopped making them last year and honestly I didn't even come up with any specific ones this year either. My goals are usually endless and I know what I want to work on this year, but I won't let them weigh me down if they're unfulfilled, I guess I'll just learn from each experience as I go! Can't wait to see what this year has in store for me though :)
