Happy Summer Solstice!

Temperatures are rising so during the summer I try to wear more natural breathable fabrics like cotton, linen, and hemp.

Favorite Summer Jewelry: Dainty Gold Necklaces

Hey guys!

One of the jewelry trends I don't get tired of are minimal dainty gold necklaces, I love how versatile they are and how they can easily be layered too! I think it's cute when they're layered because they can still be worn with any daytime or night time outfit!

However, as you guys have probably noticed, I don't wear that much jewelry, it's not that I don't like it, it's just that I prefer minimal dainty jewelry that doesn't get in the way haha! I used to be all about statement jewelry back in the day, I used to wear everything from chunky rings to statement earrings but at the end of the day I just couldn't wait to take it all off haha. I think that the statement jewelry phase is definitely over for me! Lately, I've been loving very minimal gold jewelry and anklets, especially in the summer I like to keep my style very minimal, fresh, and comfortable and that goes along with any jewelry too!

Here are a few of my favorites that can easily be worn alone or layered with other necklaces:

Love the turquoise and the diamond details of this lovely dainty necklace from Nordstrom, oh so pretty! I would definitely pair this beauty with a summery white dress at the beach! Definitely perfect for summer!

GLDN golden necklaces

Have also really been into letter engraved necklaces like this one, love how small and dainty the letter is! I feel like this one can easily be worn year round, I love the minimal details and how it can easily be layered with other necklaces and still not look too "bling-y"!

Stella & Dot necklaces

This necklace is already layered but I love how they can also be worn separately or together! Can't get enough. Although I think this one is super versatile too I think it would look super cute dressed up for a night out, even a dainty gold choker would add a nice touch to the layered look! However, the styling possibilities are endless and that's what I love about dainty gold necklaces!

Maple Holistics

It's been a while since I've shared some products here on the blog, which is why I thought today would be perfect to introduce a natural and cruelty-free brand called Maple Holistics. They're known for their wide range of products from haircare, beauty, and other personal care.

I recently tried out their sage shampoo and I must say I was hooked the first time I tried it out, I absolutely love the subtle sage/rosemary scent, it's so soothing and not too overpowering.

I typically have dry skin around this time, therefore my scalp gets pretty dry too, but the essential oils of sage helps soothe the scalp and it even promotes healthy hair grow. Anddd it's paraben and sulfate free, that's always a plus! :)

I'm all about trying out natural and cruelty-free products and I have to say I really loved this shampoo, I highly suggest checking out Maple Holistics if you haven't yet, they have a little bit of everything for anyone :)

Lavelier Skincare Review

As I near my 30's I've been all about trying different natural skincare products, especially for my sensitive skin and if it has anti-aging properties, even better! I've tried my fair share of skincare products these past years and some have either been a hit or miss.

Lately I feel like my skin has been in need of major hydration and rejuvenation! It usually gets very dry around fall and winter and hydration is definitely key! So when I found out about Lavelier skincare products containing coral seaweed along with anti-aging properties, I had to try them out for myself.

Lavelier has different skincare collections, which all contain coral seaweed as the main ingredient, so I ended up choosing the Coralline Collagen collection. This collection minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and it leaves the skin feeling softer and smoother. This collection also includes the Coralline Collagen Boosting Masque, the Collagen Firming Complex moisturizer, and the Rapid Eye Collagen Contour.

I was a bit skeptical at first but after trying out these products for about two weeks, I actually started noticing smoother/firmer skin and less wrinkles on my forehead.

1. Collagen Firming Complex

I have to say I really love this moisturizer, it has a very pleasant scent and the texture is very soft and light, not oily at all which I loved! This moisturizer is formulated with a blend of soluble Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid, it definitely left my skin feeling so smooth and supple. I also loved the simple yet elegant design of the bottle, which was a plus too! :)

2. Coralline Collagen Boosting Masque

This face masque is formulated to help improve the appearance of the skin and elasticity, it also helps with premature aging. It is infused with anti-aging marine extracts, sunflower oil, and Vitamin E which will leave your skin feeling so much smoother and firmer. The texture of the masque is thick yet rich, I loved how smooth and refreshed my skin felt after using it. I instantly felt a difference after washing it off my skin and I loved the fresh scent too!

3. Rapid Eye Collagen Contour

This product provides relief for tired eyes by smoothing out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When I woke up the day after I used it I definitely noticed a difference, I didn't look as tired as before and my under eye fine lines were barely noticeable. This product is infused with a blend of Sodium Hyaluronate and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, which targets under eye wrinkles to help promote a more smoother and firmer look on delicate skin.

If you're looking to try new anti-aging products infused with marine extracts I definitely recommend trying out Lavelier products, they carry a variety of different collections aimed for different skincare concerns. I also thought their packaging for each collection was very elegant and chic!

Never thought I'd say this but green is actually becoming one of my favorite colors for summer....well preferably muted and earthy green not St. Patrick's green lol...I just realized I only own about 2 or 3 green pieces of clothing!

You can't really tell in these pictures, but these pants are like an army earthy green color and they're super comfortable! I took them out this weekend for dinner and I swear I just want to live in them...they're that comfy and versatility is always a plus for me! I kept the look summery and casual with a basic cotton tee and these comfortable slide sandals.
