Black & Gold

Hey guys!

The holidays are here, which means more busy days, christmas shopping, and holiday parties! 

With all these festive feels I felt inspired and created a transition day to night look.

I was definitely going for a chic yet edgy look so I opted for a versatile comfortable knit midi dress. This dress can be worn during the day with chic lace up flats and then dressed up at night with ankle boots...I'm definitely an ankle boot gal! :)

With these chilly evenings you also can't go wrong with a leather jacket to keep you warm and to spice up that evening look!

I'm all about staying comfortable yet chic so this day to night transitional look definitely works for me.

When it comes to jewelry I usually don't like to overdo it so I would go for a dainty minimal style like this gold bar necklace from AUrate. This necklace is the perfect accent for that day to night transition, and I just love how versatile it is!

Indian Summer in Full Effect

Soooo yeahhh I guess this Indian summer has taken a full effect this week and maybe for the next coming days or the rest of October. I always get excited when it's officially fall on the calendar but I guess I always forget about the Indian summer right after our actual summer haha. The temps have risen up to triple digits and all I can still think about are cozy knits, pumpkin spice lattes, and fall layers. I guess denim cut-offs, sandals, hats, and shades aren't getting stocked away anytime soon. Today I opted for a basic gray tee, some comfy denim cut-offs, and flat sandals for sushi at the park and the farmer's market at the Marina. I guess part of me will miss days like these once "winter" hits off...or will I ? :)

Venture Bracelets

Hey guys!

I recently discovered this new brand of bracelets called: Venture Bracelets. What brought my attention to these specific bracelets was the good cause behind them and of course the beautiful eye-catching turquoise wooden beads.  I love how versatile and cute these bracelets are, they can be worn year round, especially during summer time! 

The story behind Venture Bracelets started in Haiti when co-founders,  Zach Branch and Logan Cookingham visited Cite Soleil, the largest slum in the western hemisphere, where extreme poverty and lack of water persists. Their experience with the locals and the desperate need for water led to the creation of Venture Bracelets. By experiencing this unforgettable journey and putting themselves out there, Branch and Cookingham realized they could do so much more and bring the world together by making a difference.  

Their philanthropy= One bracelet purchase provides one day of water for a person in need in Haiti.

Scarfin' It

After major spring cleaning I found this blue scarf I bought last year at UO, I even forgot I had it..I love finding treasures like these after they've been stuffed away for two seasons...but now that spring and summer are here I'll definitely make sure to wear it more often since lightweight airy scarves are my staples around this time!

I love the tribal watercolor print and the lightweight cotton fabric, plus the indigo blue color is everything!! I own so much blue it's not even funny..I find myself wearing different shades of blue so much especially around this time..love love it! SO fresh and summery!
