Summer Flow

♫ Haim-Walking Away ♫

Wearing:

Anneise jumpsuit
Madewell lace-up sandals
Vintage straw bag
UO sunnies
Zaful Western rope necklace

Hey guys!
Summer days call for more outdoor activities and super comfy flowy pieces!
Lately I'm all about loose flowy pieces like skirts, dresses, culottes, rompers, and jumpsuits. Naturally, I fell in love with this faded gray jumpsuit from Anneise (one of my fave boutiques in LBC). I was sold when I knew it had pockets, I love how it resembles a maxi dress, and also the fabric is soooo soft and lightweight ! I'm all about versatile pieces and this color can pretty much be worn year round so can't wait to style it with sandals, heels, espadrilles, and even sneakers! The possibilities are endless :)
I went for a boho/minimal look on this breezy summer day, which was perfect!
What are your favorite summer trends at the moment?

Summer Feels

♫ Zella Day- Man on the Moon ♫

Wearing:

RoseGal floral printed kimono
Lee's vintage denim shorts
Thrifted straw bag
Zara sandals
Anneise hair barrette
UO sunnies

It's been feeling like summer these last couple of days, we randomly had like 90 degree weather this past weekend so I finally got a chance to wear my usual summer uniform which is usually a lightweight top, denim shorts, sandals, and a straw bag.
For that extra boho touch I added this RoseGal printed kimono which I just received. I absolutely love the navy color, the print, and the lightweight fabric which can be worn all summer long with dresses or over a bathing suit too! It automatically makes any basic outfit stand out and it looks cute opened or tied in a knot, like I did here, for more of chic yet casual look. What do you guys think?

Hope you guys enjoy your day! :)

Hello April

♫ Amanda Bergman- Golden ♫

Wearing:

Shein navy dress
Madewell sandals
Thrifted straw bag
Anneise hair barrette
UO sunnies

Hey guys!
Wow can't believe it's already April! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  I ended up going to check out another super bloom at Walker Canyon in Lake Elsinore so stay tuned since I will post those pics very soon.
Anyhow, these pictures were taken last week after the farmer's market  (yes I've been going for the past three Wednesdays lol) around the marine stadium. I ended up wearing this navy body con slit dress, I must admit though that I'm not really a big fan of body con dresses, but this dress is an exception. I love the color, the slits, the length, and the fabric. It's perfect for any occasion, meaning it can be dressed up or dressed down like I did here with flat sandals for a more casual beachy look.  I also love how stretchy and comfortable it is and I can't wait to style it with different accessories next time. Spring break is unfortunately over for me:/...I didn't really go anywhere, since I'm saving up for a bigger trip coming up soon and I can't wait! :)

Do you guys have any fun spring break plans?

Happy Week!

Taste of DTLB

♫ Lizzy Mercier Descloux- No Golden Throat ♫

Wearing:

Heavenly Couture linen jacket
H&M leggings and tee
Old Navy black tote bag
Superga shoes

Taste of Downtown Long Beach is one of my favorite events in the city. It pretty much is a public event held around the downtown area, and this time it was held at one of my favorite spots in the city which is the East Village Arts District. This is my go-to hang out area where all my favorite cafes, restaurants, shops, and fave record store is.

Taste of DTLB has gotten pretty popular over the years and I love how all the restaurants/cafes within the area set up booths outside and you can pretty much walk around and taste all the different food and drinks from these restaurants. It was great because this time other participating businesses set up booths too, so besides food they were also selling t-shirts, tote bags, chocolate, vintage accessories, and a little bit of everything else...so it kinda felt like a farmer's market if you will.  It's great because although I haven't tried all the spots in the city this event gives people the opportunity to try a bit of everything from all the surrounding restaurants and local businesses in the neighborhood.

Indian Summer in Full Effect

♫ Louis the Child, K. Flay- It's Strange ♫

(Wearing: Cotton On straw hat, Ray Ban shades, Anneise tassel choker, Make Collectives scarf, Bar III tee, LF shorts, Old Navy sandals, Marloe tote bag)

Soooo yeahhh I guess this Indian summer has taken a full effect this week and maybe for the next coming days or the rest of October. I always get excited when it's officially fall on the calendar but I guess I always forget about the Indian summer right after our actual summer haha. The temps have risen up to triple digits and all I can still think about are cozy knits, pumpkin spice lattes, and fall layers. I guess denim cut-offs, sandals, hats, and shades aren't getting stocked away anytime soon. Today I opted for a basic gray tee, some comfy denim cut-offs, and flat sandals for sushi at the park and the farmer's market at the Marina. I guess part of me will miss days like these once "winter" hits off...or will I ? :)

Shoreline Village

I hope you guys enjoyed your weekend!
I literally spent my whole weekend hanging out in the best city ever!..... LBC of course ;) I loved catching up with my friends and playing tourist in my city by the beach. The weather was perfection while strolling around, basking in the sun, and eating ice cream! It was the best way to spend the weekend on a random July day. What's your favorite way to spend those summer days in your city?
