Makers Mart LB

♫ The Paper Kites- Electric Indigo ♫

Hey guys!

A couple weekends ago I was invited to Makers Mart LB to capture the event, which was a bunch of fun! I love how Long Beach has been having so many outdoor markets like these with local vendors and artisans. I'm all about supporting local small businesses and this was the perfect place to be at to get some holiday shopping done and support small biz Saturday. I got to meet some of the vendors, which were selling everything from homemade soy candles, crafty handmade art, vintage clothing, ceramics, jewelry, tees, natural skincare products, and so much more! There was live music, good vibes, and the weather was perfect which made it even better, overall it was great spending time in my city and meeting other creative people from the area. There are a bunch of these marts happening this month all over LA too, I'm planning to check some more out! Which are some of your faves?

This airstream had the cutest vintage collection ever!

And guess what! My sis and I were on the 3rd page of the Press Telegram (LB's newspaper) I had no idea they were actually going to publish these pics lol but it was all about Makers Mart LB and Shop Small Saturday, which was pretty rad!

Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures and had a great weekend!

I just got back from this cool art exhibit called 29 Rooms in LA, it was such a blast! Stay tuned for those pictures coming soon ;)

Marloe tote bag

Hey guys!

Here's a random compilation of some of the pics from this month so far.
Earlier today, I worked on a fun photoshoot with Marloe tote bags which I can't wait to share more about soon. If you've never heard about Marloe, it's a Long Beach/LA based handbag company that makes the cutest minimal totes, backpacks, and bags! I seriously can't get enough of their bags, especially the cognac leather tote I've been repeatedly sporting around, it's just so cute and versatile! I also love the fact that the company is based in my hometown, Long Beach, it's always great supporting small local businesses.

Verve Coffee Roasters in downtown LA, love that location!

One of my fave coffee shops in LA, their decor and coffee is too good!

Vanilla almond lattes...sooo smooth!

My Kind of Evening

♫ ODESZA ft. Leon Bridges- Across the Room ♫

Hey guys!

Yesterday night I took some time off from a busy day and hung out around downtown Long Beach, we had dinner at one my favorite spots: Bo-Beau Kitchen + Roof Tap, I love the rooftop of this restaurant because you get some pretty rad views of the city! Bo-Beau is known for their delicious brussels sprouts so of course we indulged in those and french fries with garlic aioli sauce...oh so yummy! You can never go wrong with these brussels sprouts so I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

After dinner we headed to East Village Arts District and stumbled upon a cool interior design store which was filled with a bunch of beautiful healing crystals and stones! I'm not really sure if crystals and stones actually work when it comes to healing and impacting our "well-being" but I do love them  especially, amethyst and rose quartz, they're just so beautiful to have around for decor.

After killing time strolling around East Village we headed to a watercolor and wine night hosted by Make Collectives  and watercolor artist Jessica Weymouth. Jessica is truly a talented watercolor artist, if you check out her IG or website you will see why...I love how she focuses mostly on nature. She paints everything from orcas, quartz and stones, succulents, space-theme, and even cute quotes!
We had such a great time sippin' on some wine while getting creative,  Make Collectives is another of my favorite shops in East Village because of the variety they carry from women's and men's clothing, vinyl, candles, accessories, stationery, and so much more! They usually have different fun workshops like these every month!
Feel free to check them out here.
These are definitely my kind of evenings, such a perfect way to end the day!
