My sister and I have been going to Renegade Craft Fair in LA for about 5 years now and we can't get enough. We love discovering new makers and meeting new ones too! It's so much fun discovering new artists and supporting small shops.

We finally got to meet the talented sister duo behind Together Segal their clothes is so beautiful, versatile, and timeless! They were the sweetest ever and I'm so glad we finally got to meet them in person and even try on some of their beautiful linen pieces.

Coronado Ave.

Hey guys!

I've been a bit busy these past few months, it's definitely been weird these months, but one thing I went back to was basket weaving, as you've seen in my last posts. This was a way for me to unwind and it's actually super therapeutic for me! Anyways, I taught my sister the art of weaving too and she also found it therapeutic. Turns out we made plenty of baskets and it went to the point where we didn't know what else to do with them or store them after they were finished lol

So.... we decided to just go for it and open up our own Etsy shop to sell these lovely handwoven baskets.
This is an idea we've had for a while now to open our own e-commerce shop and sell home decor, sustainable tees, or accessories but we decided to do baskets and vintage finds for now :)

If you're looking for some baskets for your home or would like to gift these to anyone check out our shop. You will also be able to find vintage woven gems and our handwoven baskets on our Etsy shop. These baskets need a new home so we hope you find something you like!

Here is the link to our shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/CoronadoAve

We named the shop after the street we grew up in, in Long Beach, CA. So many great memories there and I was living on that street when I learned how to weave baskets in high school. :)

Vintage straw bags and baskets available on our Etsy shop

Palo santo bundles available too :)

Thanks to those who have already supported us! It really means a lot! :D

Feel free to follow us on Instagram: @coronado.ave

We're still new to all of this so if you guys have any advice, suggestions, or feedback feel free to message us!

Hope you guys are doing good so far!

Makers Mart LB

♫ The Paper Kites- Electric Indigo ♫

Hey guys!

A couple weekends ago I was invited to Makers Mart LB to capture the event, which was a bunch of fun! I love how Long Beach has been having so many outdoor markets like these with local vendors and artisans. I'm all about supporting local small businesses and this was the perfect place to be at to get some holiday shopping done and support small biz Saturday. I got to meet some of the vendors, which were selling everything from homemade soy candles, crafty handmade art, vintage clothing, ceramics, jewelry, tees, natural skincare products, and so much more! There was live music, good vibes, and the weather was perfect which made it even better, overall it was great spending time in my city and meeting other creative people from the area. There are a bunch of these marts happening this month all over LA too, I'm planning to check some more out! Which are some of your faves?

This airstream had the cutest vintage collection ever!
Check em out at: Blossom Vintage

Shades of Gaia tepees, too cute!

Bought a necklace from Hey Moon Designs, love it!

DJ HoneyMe and DJ AmpCALI mixing some sick beats!

Stopping by one of my fave coffee shops in DTLB: Recreational Coffee
for this yummy almond chai latte

And guess what! My sis and I were on the 3rd page of the Press Telegram (LB's newspaper) I had no idea they were actually going to publish these pics lol but it was all about Makers Mart LB and Shop Small Saturday, which was pretty rad!

Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures and had a great weekend!

I just got back from this cool art exhibit called 29 Rooms in LA, it was such a blast! Stay tuned for those pictures coming soon ;)
