Balboa Island Day

Last weekend we took a ferry boat out to Balboa Island in Newport Beach, it's been a while since I was there (last summer) so it felt nice to be back! It finally felt and looked like spring outside so we took advantage of the chilly but nice day and enjoyed the ferry ride and the sunshine. 

It's been raining non stop here in SoCal with freezing temps, we even got snow a couple days ago inland which is crazy! Although I do love cold weather I think it's safe to say that I'm so ready for spring now...which means more rain coming our way for sure! :)

Visiting this lovely concept shop/cafe/surf shop in Newport Beach: Daydream Surf Shop

it was definitely one of the coolest shops I've been to in a while, loved all the natural lighting, the decor, their vintage collection and their little cafe!

Hey guys!

Here are the pictures from this past weekend. We went out exploring Newport Beach's new outdoor shopping center called: Lido Marina Village.

This place is just the cutest, it's definitely got that upscale yet laid-back beachy cottage feel. I loved the minimalist decor and overall aesthetic design of this place. I believe it hasn't been around for too long yet which is why there weren't many businesses opened yet. 

However, it's still a great place to go hang out or go on date. There are some cute boutiques, a book store, a few restaurants, and cafes to check out. I can imagine it will be very popular around summer time since it is right on Balboa Peninsula and super close to Balboa Island. Loved, loved it! I'm definitely hoping to be back soon and check out the rest!
