After Jason Rhoades' exhibition we spent the time strolling around and exploring a certain part of downtown LA I had never really ventured out to. It's funny because I never really knew about this other part of the arts district which I ended up loving! It reminded a bit of a mix between Capitol Hill in Seattle and Brooklyn (NY) ....and yes I guess you can say a little bit too "hipster" as well haha. I love how this district is very industrial/urban and filled with random art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and music venues all within walking distance which is a plus! It's crazy to see this city grow so quickly since back in the day downtown LA was never really "happening", but I'm so glad to see how much this city has progressed!

Ending the night at The Brass Lamp in DTLB indulging in dessert and a refreshing chai tea!! Loved it! This place is fairly new it's a"Book Bar" with yummy food, drinks, coffee, books, and live music! The ambiance was pretty chill too, we loved it!
