Sequoia Trip

♫ Bayonne- Falls ♫

This past weekend I went to Sequoia National Park with my family for Mother's Day, we were all first timers and we all ended up loving it! We even saw some snow on the way to Kings Canyon! I was definitely excited since it's been like two years since I've seen snow :D

Overall the weather was perfect, it was in the low 50s with a combination of light drizzle, sunshine, and of course some snow. It felt so nice being surrounded by nature again, missed it so much! We even hiked around 4-5 miles thinking that it might rain and hail that whole time but thankfully it never did haha. There's nothing better than road trips with good company surrounded by nature. I'm already looking forward to my next weekend getaway, hopefully to Redwood National Forest!

Have you guys visited Sequoia yet? I highly recommend visiting, it's a MUST see place, we saw some of the biggest trees ever including, The General Sherman tree, which is the largest tree in the world also with the biggest volume (tree trunk) it was simply amazing to see it in person. This place is filled with so much mystery and wonder, you must add it to your bucket list if you haven't yet!

Mom loving the hike :)

Just Like Heaven Music Festival

♫ Miike Snow- Burial ♫

Hey guys!
Here are the pictures from last weekend's Just Like Heaven Music Festival in Long Beach!
This was a last minute decision, I wasn't planning on going since tickets sold out but I was able to find a ticket! I'm so glad I ended up going because it was definitely one for the books, I didn't take as many pictures of the performances though because I was standing way too far and I was also trying to enjoying being in the moment and not capturing every single detail haha

This music festival seriously felt like a millennial high school reunion since most of the bands and artists that played at the festival were my favorites during my high school and early college years, it was very nostalgic! Some of my favorite bands I got to see included: Miike Snow, MGMT, Passion Pit, The Rapture, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beach House, and a few others :)

Did any of you guys get a chance to go too?

Thanks to Wolf's Brew Coffee for keeping us fueled up and caffeinated at the festival :)

Walk this Way

♫  Tennis- No Exit ♫

Wearing: Almina Concept t-shirt, Zara jeans, Christy Dawn boots, thrifted straw bag

Hey guys!

Here's a quickie outfit post from a couple weekends ago, I wanted to share this comfortable yet casual outfit, it's definitely one of my go-to looks! I recently found this really cool LA-based sustainable brand, Almina Concept , and I'm already a fan! I got their cotton crew striped tee and I'm in love, I literally have been styling it so many different ways ever since I got it, gotta love versatile pieces like that...especially if they're sustainably made :)!

For a simple yet casual-everyday look I paired the tee with some high waisted bootcut jeans, Christy Dawn lace up boots (another one of my fave LA-based brands),  and a straw bag. I may or may have not gotten some style inspo from Jane Birkin (circa 1970's) ;)

What do you guys think of the look?
