Summer Lovin' in Venice Beach

This past weekend was spent out in Venice Beach, I've actually been spending way too much time out there lately....but I don't mind :P

When it comes to Venice there's definitely so much to see and do. For some it may seem sketchy, gritty, overrated, or dirty..but that's what I love about it...its imperfections. There is culture, art, music, and so much diversity. It truly embodies the raw SoCal lifestyle and spirit, it's unlike any other beach here in SoCal. Besides being an ultimate tourist trap it's also filled with so much energy and eccentricity. 

  I love walking along Abbot Kinney and ending up in Venice Beach for some blue algae smoothie bowls at Great White, which is a must-try spot for sure.

One of my all time favorite things about Venice though.....the art murals everywhere!

Can't get enough of this place: Great White...literally right across of the 'Venice' sign.

Stopped by The Butcher's Daughter for a quick dinner! You know I was all about their decor and aesthetic! Loved the food too!

July Lately

Hey guys!

Can't believe we're in mid-July already!
Here's a random recap of this month so far, it's been a good month filled with beach days, farmer's market trips, thrifting, LA summer nights, and relaxing days. 

I'm already looking forward to August though since I will be going on a trip, which I'm very excited about! I'm definitely wanderlusting (more than ever) but I'm glad I've had some time to unwind and play tourist in my hometown too. 

How are you guys spending your summer?
