Coffee Date + Beach Day

I love playing tourist in my city and exploring all the small businesses opening up!

Although this coffee shop is not that new anymore it's still a gem in the middle of downtown, it's called Cafe Cabinet and they offer some of the best high-quality coffee in the city! 

We ended up getting the purple drink (which has a hint of lavender) and I got the iced rose latte with oat milk, it was so refreshing and delicious. They also have some of the best espresso in LBC and a secret menu, which I just found out haha.

It's been super hot lately here in SoCal so what best way to cool off than going to the beach, I usually try and go when I have free time or when I'm off work during the week since it's less crowded! Although "fall" is around the corner I still want to try and squeeze in as much beach time as I can...although let's be real...summer is not technically over here until late Oct-November.

Happy Sunday!

Here are a couple shots I snapped from last Sunday lol...I know late :P

My sis and I took our friends Elly and Lupe to LA for their birthdays! Elly and Lupe are twins and our longtime friends so it was a perfect sister outing hanging out with them. We walked all over and visited some random cool spots in downtown and showed them some of our fave spots too.

We visited a few spots like Flowerboy Project, Little Fluffy Head, and The Broken Shaker Rooftop Bar in downtown, my sis and I celebrated our birthday there last November and it's definitely a must-visit spot! Love the view of the city from the top along with the vibes, foods, and drinks! Perfect spot for summer :)

Stumbled inside Little Fluffy Head Cafe instead for some cheese tea!

Honestly one of the BEST jasmine tea's I've had, so decadent...who would've thought cheese teas would be delicious!

The cheese creme on top tasted like creme brulee :)

Verve Coffee Roasters outdoor decor....we didn't get coffee but this place has quality coffee and their aesthetic is on point, def one of my fave coffee shops in DTLA!

Silver Lake & Los Feliz Guide

Finally got a chance to try Honey Hi in Silver Lake, you guys must try this place...it's healthy and oh so yummy!

We got the breakfast bowl and salmon bowl...so delish!

Stumbled upon this rad bookstore/cafe called Stories

After lunch we stopped at Dayglow coffee, my sister got their iced coffee and it was so refreshing, their decor and aesthetic was on point too! 

I couldn't resist so I had to stop by Matcha Bar too which is walking distance from Dayglow. I highly recommend trying out their rose matcha! I've been obsessed with anything rose-flavored lately and if you are too, then you will love this drink, plus it's topped off with edible rose petals!

The NOW Massage Boutique

If you need to unwind and need a massage The NOW Massage Boutique is the place to go, loved their vibes!

After Silver Lake we drove a couple minutes to Los Feliz and stopped by Skylight Books, another bookstore on my bucket list which I truly loved! They had a great selection of books...and of course I was all about their whole aesthetic!

Spotted this neon sign at Tacos Tu Madre, didn't try this place but it's now on my list! haha 

This place is literally next door to Skylight Books, you can't miss it, it's so colorful and artsy!

We ended the day at Little Tokyo's Chinchikurin for some Okonomiyaki, I was craving this for a while and this place did not disappoint!
