Getting to meet Devendra Banhart with my sis was one of the highlights of the day! He's such a talented artist/musician who was DJ'in that night!

LOVE the new "The Loop" art installation in downtown Long Beach!

Here are some snaps from last Saturday's Summer and Music festival, it was most definitely a fun day with good company, great food, cool skaters, amazing music, and chill vibes all around! I'm so glad I got to meet and snap a quickie with Devendra Banhart, such a chill guy!
There are so many more summer event coming up that I'm planning to check out and I can't wait!

Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures :)

They also carry children's clothing and accessories, super cute!

Artsy murals in downtown

Chalk art map of LBC...so sweet!

Ending the day at Recreational Coffee, voted one of LBC's best coffee shops..but we only went for those vegan donuts and we killed them...they were so light yet delicious!

Beach Streets is a neat event in Long Beach held once a year. because of the event many streets of the city close and allow people to leave their cars at home and bike/walk all over the city to explore new businesses, check out live music, cool art, new food joints, etc. Long Beach is already known as a bike-friendly city so this was a perfect event! They even had new bike rentals all over the city, which I will need to rent out soon! There were a bunch of bicyclists cruising around and enjoying the event with their families, friends, and pups.
. Beach Streets was so much fun! I went with family and friends and we walked everywhere all while checking out live music including Matt Costa, art galleries, coffee shops, and of course stopped by my fave record store fingerprints.  I love being a tourist in my own city especially when events like these come around, it gives me an opportunity to explore new hidden places or businesses I didn't know about. SO much fun, love my LBC!

Hope you all are enjoying your day :)
