Happy July!

With summer in full swing, I'm all about fresh whites, clear skies, lazy beach days, and random adventures!

Here's a quickie post of my July inspo, I'm hitting the beach soon and just finished reading 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho....sooo good btw, it's a must-read!

Do you guys recommend any good books?

Summer is definitely here, which means more beach outings, random adventures, lazy beach days, and comfy breezy outfits! My weekend outfit was definitely comfortable and casual...but then again that's usually my fave way to go! I recently got these Old Navy sandals and my oh my are they the comfiest slide sandals ever....they have cushioned insoles with memory foam!! 'Nuff said :D

This past weekend I went to Retro Row in LBC for thrifting and window shopping, I ended up at one of my fave shops called The Hangout, they recently expanded their store to a bigger space and I love it even more! The storefront welcomes you with a neat vinyl collection and open space filled with boho interior decor, thrifted clothing, accessories, and many more gems! The overall space is just goals, these pictures don't do it justice :)

Santa Monica: Main St.

This long weekend consisted of random LA outings including Santa Monica, it felt nice to go back after what felt like months! I love SM but sometimes it's such a drag driving out there because of heavy traffic, especially since it's such a touristic area but I swear every time I go back there's always something new happening or I discover new cool spots! The weather was great and so was the ambiance around Main st., I usually try to stay away from 3rd St Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier because it's so crowded and finding parking there is such a nightmare! If you want a more laid-back and mellow scene I suggest Main St. it's a street filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants right in between Abbot Kinney and the infamous Promenade. Everything is within walking distance too which is a huge plus!

August Summer Looks

I hope you guys had lovely weekend :)

Here are some Polyvore sets I recently created inspired by August summer days and my current favorite summer looks!

August is definitely one of the hottest months of the year so naturally I opt for light neutral colors like white, ivory, light greys, and any shade of blue! I also go for lighter breathable fabrics for that breezy comfortable look! I still love dark colors but not such a good idea especially when it feels like 100 degrees outside.

As you guys know I've never really been into that polished glam look. Anything with neutral colors, minimal make up, messy tousled hair, and a casual ensemble always does it for me!

My ideal looks for this month includes: a lot of stripes, flared pants, crop tops, midi dresses, and beach wear.
