Out & About: Laguna Beach

♫ La Plage- Rendez Vous ♫

Here are last week's snaps from Laguna Beach, one of my fave beaches in OC.  I took a drive out there on my day off and the weather was perfection! You just can't beat that highway view and clear waters! I also tried out the new Urth Caffe there, the new location has got to be my fave so far, it's literally in front of the beach and the atmosphere was sooo nice. Good vibes all around, and the traffic there is not so bad like LA, I'm definitely coming back to this Urth again. You guys should check it out when you're in the area, and make sure to check out the art galleries, cute shops, and the beach of course!

 I ended up creating two outfits on Polyvore, a day and night look.  I've been to Las Vegas many times and it's just one of those cities you need to visit in your lifetime, it's surely one of a kind! There are still many things on my bucket list to do in Vegas! I found so many great hotels and events on Vegas.com, which also inspired my looks!

One thing I would love to try in Vegas next time is a hot air balloon tour of the city, I mean what better way to see Vegas than from a bird's eye view! Although the times are pretty early, you can't beat a desert sunrise!  For this occasion I would go with a casual-chic yet comfortable look. This look is also perfect for brunch right after either at "Eat" in downtown Vegas or tasty desserts at Serendipity 3 located at Caesar's Palace.

For the night time outfit I opted for an embroidered dress and lace up heels for that dressy "Vegas" look. This look is perfect for dinner and drinks at Picasso Restaurant overlooking the Bellagio water show or KA's Cirque Du Soleil show at the MGM Grand Hotel. I also can't forget to check out the lounges and bars at the Aria and Wynn Hotel!

Homemade Harvest Parfait

In honor of October's arrival and my excitement for fall, I got inspired to make my own homemade quickie parfait. If you haven't noticed from previous pics and posts I'm obsessed with parfaits and acai bowls, the more toppings the better! :)

It took me less than 10 minutes to prepare this in the morning before work. It's so quick and easy to make, and it's also a perfect midday snack.

Here's what you need:

1. Yogurt 

( I used Fage yogurt)

2. Sliced apples 

3. Granola 

( I used Kashi's honey almond flax granola)

4. Dark chocolate bits

(Trader Joe's has yummy dark chocolate with almonds I just cut it into chunks/ pieces and voila)

5. Pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds

(Again, Trader Joe's has the best pumpkin spiced seeds and they're the perfect addition!)

6. Cinnamon powder

(one or two pinches should be fine for that extra kick)

Last but not least, mix it up and enjoy... it literally tastes like autumn in your mouth!
