 I've started the year hiking more which is something I love, it helps me de-stress, wind down, and just enjoy nature around me. I have a few fave hiking spots from Santa Monica, Malibu, and Laguna Beach but some of my all time faves are at Palos Verdes coastline. They're not so crowded and you just can't beat an amazing view like that! Any hiking trails near the ocean are seriously the best. Makes me realize how lucky I am to live in the golden state.

El Nino is here! I have to say I'm really enjoying this rain though, it's been a while!

Quickie snaps of these past days! I keep taking out more sweaters and knits from my "winter" storage box since the weather has been really cold and rainy lately, but I can't complain! I missed this weather, especially the rain!

 Sweater weather is here for sure so time to take out those umbrellas and rain boots!

Mount San Jacinto Peak

Yay loved the snow!

Made it to the top! 10,000 feet up, refreshing hike and amazing desert view!

Visiting Mount Jacinto was another highlight of my 2015 trip and the cherry on top was the snow! We took the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway up, you literally go from desert oasis to winter wonderland in a matter of minutes! It had been a while since I actually saw snow and I loved it! The weather was pretty cold but after a couple miles of hiking up it felt nice and pleasant.  It was pretty hard hiking up without slipping a couple times and sliding off the trail here and there haha but we made it and the desert view was so worth it.  This was definitely an unforgettable end of 2015 road trip though and I can't wait for many more road trips and adventures to come!

I started the year at one of my favorite beaches, Laguna Beach in OC. I went just in time to see the sunset and it was indeed magical. Perfect way to start the year if you ask me!
