MODS Museum

♫ Mr Twin Sister- Sensitive ♫

Started off the year at this pretty rad light museum in LA, I had bought tickets for MODS Museum last January and for some reason never had a chance to go haha, but I'm so glad I finally got to check it out! :)

Definitely a MUST visit! For sure felt like I was in a dream :)
These pictures don't do it justice.

Happy new year guys!

I always feel a bit melancholy and nostalgic at the beginning of every year...maybe because I'll miss all the old memories left behind, but I'm also looking forward to all the new memories that will be made this year!
Not sure what's in store for me yet but I'm excited, especially for new adventures! :)

Love Letter to LA

♫ Devendra Banhart- Abre las Manos ♫

Last weekend I got to check out this pretty rad art installation at the La Brea Tar Pits in LA. This art installation is unlike any I've seen before, it's called "Second Home Serpentine Pavilion" designed by Spanish architects: Lucia Cano and and Jose Selgas.

This installation reminded me of a giant kaleidoscope, and the best part is when the sun rays bounce and reflect light from every angle of the art installation. It illuminates a rainbow of translucent colors, resembling stained glass. It definitely reminded me of a"magical house" as my nephew called it lol

It's free! but just make sure to RSVP on their website here

Renegade Craft Fair '18

♫ The War on Drugs- Come to the City ♫

This year's Renegade Craft Festival in LA was definitely way bigger than I remember, the last time I was there was like 2 years ago but I have to say I definitely enjoyed it more this year. The vendors, the weather, the vibes...loved it all!
My favorite part about this festival is that I get to meet up with some local artisans and discover new ones too! Some of my faves include: Hey Moon Designs, Mien Studios , Rex Design Ceramics, West Perro, and a bunch of others! If you guys haven't been I definitely suggest checking it out next year! Renegade Craft Fair is also held in many other cities like San Francisco, New York, Dallas, and Chicago to name a few. Have you guys been before?
