You can't go wrong with basic pieces which are honestly my go-to's on a day to day basis because they're so versatile and can be mix and matched or dressed up or down with pretty much anything.

 This day I opted for cropped jeans, striped top, cargo trench jacket, basic black tote, and of course my ankle boots. I wanted to keep the look classic and minimal yet comfortable.

Summer Staple

This past Sunday I got to hang out with my mom and try out Front Porch Pops again at Old Town Orange....these popsicles are soooo delish. I love the "Cuckoo for Coconut"  and the "Ain't Misbehavin' Mojito" flavors, so fresh and natural... definitely a place to try!

My summer staple lately: linen dresses, I'm in love with them! They're just so comfortable, fresh, and perfect for summer! I snatched this one up at Forever 21 about a month ago for such a great price, and can say it has become one of my favorite summer dresses. It's so versatile and can easily be paired with flats or heels. Do you guys have any current summer staples?

January Inspo

I know the holidays are gone, but I still can't help but keep loving this "wintery" mood and winter whites especially when it comes to knits, interior decor and let's not forget the decorative lights...I actually love them year round! And let's face it even though it's not necessarily winter in SoCal it still gets pretty darn chilly at night and there's no better feeling than coming home after a long day and snuggling up while watching movies and drinking hot tea...so in the mean time here's a quickie January winter post.
