Julian is known for their apple pies, so naturally we had to try some once we got there, and it did not disappoint!

Last weekend we took a little road trip up to the San Diego small town called Julian, it's tucked away in the mountains and we got lucky to see some snow. 

With all the rain California has been getting the mountains have been getting so much snow so it was nice to see despite the cold!

We only spent one night up in the mountains and it was the perfect little getaway that we needed, it was our first time and we loved this teeny tiny town known for its apple pie. 

If you're in the SoCal area and need a little snowy getaway I recommend Julian, a day trip or one night is perfect since it's such a small town and don't forget to try their pies!

After Julian we drove down to Anza Borrego Desert Park to check out the super bloom and cool sculptures, more pictures coming soon in the next post. Stay tuned!

February Cozies

Sweater Weather Mood

More Sweaters here

'Winter' is officially here in SoCal, hazy mornings and chilly nights calls for sweater weather!  Honestly I missed winter, so I don't mind this weather at all. I finally get to take out my sweaters and stay cozy throughout the day. The best part about winter is that, believe it or not, we also get some rain, and we might get some next week...about time! :)

I'm all about oversized knit sweaters, cardigans, and ponchos for winter. But lately I've been really into poncho-like cardigans with pockets, especially like the one in the second picture. I love how easy they are to throw on with any casual outfit and boots, they just add that extra cozy layer and finish up the look.

November is finally here! I'm so excited for what this month has in store, besides my birthday and Thanksgiving haha, I will be going on a road trip soon which I'm super excited about!

This month has started off with crisp gloomy weather, which I love! This day I opted for a cozy knit burgundy cardigan, a basic tee, jeans, and my go-to ankle boots for a cozy casual look running around town on a busy day. I also went to lunch with my sissy to a cute cafe in downtown LB called Cuppa Cuppa. We had delicious avo toast and churro lattes ....no better way to start the month if you ask me!

PS- I binge-watched all of Stranger Things' 2nd season last weekend!....mind blown for sure! What did you guys think of it? I'm already waiting for season 3 lol :)

The temps have surely fallen in SoCal (50-60 degrees)... yes that's cold for us out here haha which is why I've taken out my trusty cozy knits, boots, tights, and warmer garments for the chilly weather. 

I LOVE this Zaful sweater, the color, lace up style, and loose fit are everything to me because comfort is key. This a-line corduroy skirt took me back to the 90s, I love the faded charcoal color and the style. I'm a fan of some 90s looks so I guess I was going for a 90's comfy ensemble!

Guys! I can't believe fall is almost here..well not really here in SoCal but still it's officially fall on Sept 23rd! Although the temperatures don't drop here until late October/November I still can't help but get excited about pumpkin spiced everything, chunky knits, scarves, boots, fuzzy socks, and anything cozy! I got inspired and created my fall wish list with items from Shein, I loooove these chunky knit sweaters I live in them all fall and winter long whether I'm out and about at a pumpkin patch or just lounging around at home watching Netflix with some tea :) Shein has the cutest fall items right now so make sure to check them out to get some of the latest fall trends.
