Quotes & Sunsets

♫ Herbie Hancock- Cantaloupe Island

I finally tried out this new place in Fullerton called: Veronese Gallery & Cafe. From the outside it looks like an ordinary two story house but the only difference is that it's filled with plants and artsy decor everywhere. I instantly fell in love with the ambiance!  The vibes were chill and the atmosphere had this calming effect with jazz music playing the background, it must have also been the plants and the water fountain sound that gave this effect. I love the home-y feeling of this place, I also love how spacious the outdoor patio was and how every table section had it's own unique decor. I settled on a comfy couch and my table had a bunch of hand written quotes stuck under the glass by many of the other customers who ate there too. Overall, the place had pretty good service and yummy peach iced teas! But I can't wait to come back when the weather cools down to try out their hot drinks and desserts and cozy up by the fireplace with friends.

Happy Week!

Cafe Maji

I recently got to try out this new Korean cafe in Artesia called: Cafe Maji . You guys already know how I love trying out new cafes and this one has got to be the quirkiest, cutest, and most creative/inspiring cafe I've tried this year!  I loved the atmosphere, the vibes, the interior decor, and the overall customer service. Now the food/drinks....I was expecting the usual green tea latte and chocolate milk shake but when they brought them out, I was sold when I saw the cutest bear art (and bear paw!) on my green tea latte with a delicious cream puff on the side. It was truly heavenly. My tuna sandwich was also very tasty and fresh, I loved it and was overall satisfied. If you guys are around the Cerritos/Artesia area make sure to try this place, they have a variety of things to try from food, lattes, iced drinks, shakes, and desserts.  It's also a great place to hang out and lounge with friends or study. Can't wait to come back :)

Thanks to my cousin, Bianca, for the recommendation!

DTLA Eats

Last Friday night at Daily Dose Cafe:

Dinner at The Little Bear:

Downtown LA has so many hidden gems especially around the industrial and arts district, which honestly aren't the safest spots in LA but....these are an exception. Daily Dose Cafe is located in a random street in the middle of an alley. What caught my attention outside the cafe were the beautifully decorated lights hung all across the outside patio. Inside the alley was a random art studio and of course the cafe. I tried their Buena Vista latte with almond milk and brown sugar...delish! This cafe is definitely an Instagram worthy place so be prepared to take pictures!

Across from Daily Dose Cafe we had dinner at The Little Bear, which is a Belgian inspired bar and restaurant. The interior obviously caught my attention I loved the dim lit space, the industrial/modern decor and the loud yet welcoming ambiance inside. I tried one of their salads and the fries with garlic aoli sauce...so yummy!

Happy Week!
