♫ Camille- Paris ♫
(Pictures taken and edited by me)- Paris fall 2012
Back in the fall of 2012 was the first time I visited the City of Lights. Despite the short stay it was an unforgettable trip. There were many negative comments I would hear and stories my friends told me about how dirty the city was or how rude the people were, but it was still a dream of mine to visit.
To my surprise, I fell even more in LOVE with this gloomy rainy city, a certain je ne sais quoi...every time I think about Paris I feel nostalgic and I feel the need to pack up my bags and go back...which trust me it's in the plans! I didn't care about the dirty streets, the rude people, in fact it almost reminded me of LA or maybe NY because of the imperfections, I love how imperfect the city was and the wide diversity/ culture embedded in this magical city.
The Parisian streets, the language, the style, the music, the art, the morning croissants and chocolat chaud, getting lost in Montmartre, Sacre Coeur, visiting the Versailles Palace, taking the crowded metro full of the most stylish people and most handsome gentlemen ever, and of course the moment I saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time. I will never forget that moment there just taking it all in...what a view..and once the rain began to pour everything felt so right! I bid farewell (not forever) with a magical view of the twinkling Eiffel Tower. Such a magical time spent in Paris, I can't wait to go back soon!
This is a post dedicated to Paris, one of the most beautiful cities I've visited. Sending my most dearest condolences for the families, friends, and innocent lost souls affected during this terrible event. I'm sending positive vibes and I hope Paris keeps staying strong! Vive la France!
