♫ The War On Drugs- Holding On ♫
Coming back to the Grand Canyon was just as amazing as last time I was there. It was great to experience it in the fall this time, compared to last time I was there (June 2014). Although it was freezing this time (40 degrees and windy as heck!) I still loved it, November is off-season so it was not crowded at all, we literally had the park all to ourselves. It was a bit gloomy and rainy when we arrived but it was still so beautiful, the rolling clouds and sun rays peeking through the clouds made it look even more majestic. There's a certain unexplainable feeling once you're there, it's just so incredible once you see it in person, these pictures don't do it justice.
After The Grand Canyon we drove to Williams, a small town about an hour away, settled on the infamous Route 66. After visiting this town three years ago it was weird to see it pretty lonely too because of off-season. Nonetheless, I loved how beautifully decorated it was, their Christmas game was strong and I definitely felt the Christmas spirit. When you're in Williams you feel like you're in a movie set, the town is filled with cute shops, diners, cafes, horse carriages, and there is even a train station. It definitely has that Western-movie vibe but it's still a must-see when you're in the area, it has charm and history for sure.
I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures, stay tuned for more from the trip!
