Lavender Lattes & Weekend Strolls

This past weekend mostly consisted of doing absolutely nothing, well besides laundry and cleaning haha... mostly a lazy weekend. I love having some time off once in a while though to get myself together and organize my life :P However, I made sure to go out to try this new coffee shop saved in my IG tab for a while called Little Ripper Coffee, have you guys ever been? It's  a cute cafe nestled in  Glassell Park, I tried their most popular drink aka the lavender almond latte...it was so smooth and delicious..and a major plus is the cute lavender stem they add on the drink. I love lavender anything so this was probably one of the yummiest lavender drinks I've had in a while. I also tried their vegan sea salt chocolate chip cookie and it was oh so heavenly! I'm definitely planning a trip back again :)

What's your favorite coffee shop? Do you guys recommend any?

I'm already thinking of my next weekend adventure, so crossing my fingers it comes together...can't wait so stay tuned! :)

LOVE Isabel Marant and her Melrose store with its succulent garden!

Although it's a bit overrated I still love walking around Melrose and stopping by Alfred Tea Room, I just can't get enough of the pastel pink decor and overall aesthetic haha, the teas aren't so bad either;)

The holidays are pretty much here, which inspired me to create a Polyvore set for a holiday party look. Staying true to my style I opted for an Isabel Marant textured black top, and sequined wrap skirt, some bejeweled jewelry, Givenchy simple black heels and a box clutch..a simple yet chic ensemble! Also, let's not forget about the nails, I would deck them out in Julep's burgundy (llga) and gold (Oscar) colors to give my look that extra holiday glitzy feel! Here's one of my fave collections from Paris fashion week from my fave French designer, Isabel Marant. I've been a fan of her effortlessly cool designs since I can remember. I just love how her designs are so basic and easy to wear with such intricate stunning details. SS'15 ready to wear collection was inspired by navajo indians, cowboys, Africa, etc.. lol I just love how everything clashed so well together! The colors used were probably my favorite from: taupe, off whites, black, red/orange, and I also loved the tassels, fringe, shells, leather, knits, and flat studded sandals....geez way to go Isabel Marant! Cheers to yet another great collection!

Chilly Daze

Lately it's been very chilly here in SoCal, it started off this past weekend with a bit of rain and lots of wind! I was not complaining though,  I finally had a reason to dig into all my "winter clothes" lol I recently bought this H&M coat with big pockets (which is a MUST for me) and I have to say I'm in love with it... plus it's very versatile! This month is flying by and it's been quite hectic but I can't wait for Christmas and NYE!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend, I'll leave you guys with my OOTD from today, pretty comfy yet casual, and I finally got to wear my Isabel Marant for H&M scarf, which I'm in LOVE with, I am truly a fan of this H&M collab and I'm glad I got my hands on this scarf and two other items, which you will probably see me wearing soon! ;) Anyways today I hung out with my sis and did a little shopping at South Coast Plaza, it felt good to finally shop around for the holidays and catch up.
