That Golden Light

Although it's still super warm out it makes for the best golden hour pictures!

I love golden hour, there is a certain warm golden light around that time of the day that I just love. 

I swear you can almost feel the warmth through these pictures from the leftover heat of the day, it was maybe around 6pm and it still felt like 90 degrees outside!

I opted for one my fave LBD that I've had for years, it has a cute open back detail and criss-cross diamond stitching along the hems. It's so versatile, timeless and breathable, love it!

I paired it with these simple tan Zara sandals and my rattan bag.  I don't usually like to overdo an outfit especially when it's too hot outside. I kept the makeup natural, wore minimal dainty jewelry, and let my hair do its thing (with help from ouai wave spray).

1. East Side Printed Neck Scarf

One of my favorite accessories from Tobi's site was this beautiful printed silk scarf, I love the color and the fact that it can be worn year round. I love styling it around my neck, head, and even tying it on bag straps for an extra cute touch, I love how it instantly makes any outfit chic!

When I first saw this little black dress I knew I had to have it! The styling possibilities are endless, it's one of the most versatile dresses since it can be worn with simple lace up sandals in the summer and with tights and ankle boots for fall! I also loved the lace detail on the boat neckline because it makes this dress so much more beautiful!

3. Spectrum Hooded Anorak Jacket 

My other favorite pick from Tobi was this army green anorak jacket, I love how lightweight and soft the fabric is which also means it can be worn year round with shorts, jeans, and dresses! I paired this jacket with some bootcut jeans, a basic tee, sandals, and this Tobi neck scarf on a chilly summer evening! However, I'm super excited to wear it this fall with layers and boots!

Little Black Dress

I have this thing with little black dresses and when I first laid eyes on this cute little number from Tobi it made me swoon! I especially loved the lace detail along the boat neckline...so simple yet so chic!
